Lisa AKA VisineQueen is a cannabis event curator, advocate, and influencer. She’s located in NYC. You can find her on Instagram and at visinequeen.com. We caught up with her to hear all about Jane Doe Co. and more!

How did you get involved in cannabis?
By being a consumer first! Smoking was exciting from the beginning. Learning all the stoner songs, ways of rolling, trying a bong for the first time, etc. As social media grew in the early 2000’s, a cannabis presence was nonexistent. I totally wanted to give my own style and flair as a weed smoker on the internet. From there was born my blog who ten years later has given me the gift of many friends and an awesome community that supports me greatly.

What is your mission with @thejanedoeco?
The Jane Doe Co. is utilized as a means to provide information for NJ consumers that speak Spanish. Jane Doe can be anyone anywhere. This is for all kinds of Spanish speaking individuals who are interested in having canna-material tailored to their culture. I am American of Dominican descent, so it’s important to me to make something that bridges both peoples and gives us a way to yet again connect. My mission overall with TJD & VisineQueen is to create more positive awareness on the use of Cannabis and the overall vibe towards it.

Where do you see yourself in the industry in 5 years?
I’d love to own my own smoke lounge one day! Maybe a huge location that boasts artistic space for a gallery, and a chill smoke lounge for all members of the private social club! Cannabis will only get more glamorous from here. Maybe wedding planning or more cannabis event planning in general.

What's the biggest challenge of working in the cannabis space and the biggest reward?
One of the biggest challenges is working around illegality because cannabis use is still outlawed in the state of New Jersey and New York City. It’s hard but we’ll keep at it until it’s fully legalized. The biggest reward is the support I receive from people who purchase my art or check out my live painting events to those who invest in our private events and have attended multiple ones, one after another. To bring a happening to life and have so many people enjoy them is very fulfilling and I truly aim to please every single person.
